Born in Murmansk. Lives and works in Almaty, Kazakhstan.
Winner of the Nationwide Independent Award of the Maecenas Club of Kazakhstan "Tarlan".
Laureate of the Eurasian Prize 2019.
I try to look in my own way at issues that were dealt with a thousand years ago...I try to combine eras, times, to knock down concepts, attachments to a particular time. So I allow the incompatible in my works: knights can ride, helicopters can ride, and a submarine is nearby. It's a run from time. Time exists of course, there is no escaping it. I'm trying to show an outsider's perspective on all this human mythology
