I thought for a long time about the myth telling of the birth of Apollo... Why was the god representing art and creative potential born somewhere in exile, on some deserted island? Why did the Greeks not surround the birth of their beloved with more dignified conditions? And understood: it was no accident. Apparently, his soul had to be tormented by the desert, to hunger for beauty, for perfection and harmony to such an extent that it had to prove capable of giving birth to all this from itself, to turn into a source of creative force... the same thing with me: birth in the depths of Belarus, in a small village, most of life in a small country town - conditions in which, it seems, there is nothing to give birth or to grow an artist... So, it had to be. The creator needs the desert in order to be able to start creating his own world, to give birth to it from his soul. I am a creator! I am God! I am the Apollo of my own world!
