Basid Mountain

The centrepiece of the work is an unusual island populated by fantastical creatures. The highest part of the island is topped by a turret with lush tree branches jutting out in different directions. A boat is moored to the island and a sailing boat approaches, with a lighthouse visible in the distance. The bright blue sky harmonises with the blue of the sea. The artist used various shades of brown, blue, blue and grey, as well as red, terracotta, green and sandy beige.
