A vision of the Shrovetide

Central to the work is the giant Humpty Dumpty, a fantastic egg-like character with a face, arms and legs. Seated in the bushes, he grasps a driftwood tree on which a white glove flutters like a flag. The other creatures look like ordinary humans, they are much smaller in stature. Everyone is minding their own business and does not pay attention to the strange creature. The surrounding countryside is almost devoid of vegetation, with spiky hills and mountains rising everywhere. On the left, in the distance, one can see a sea bay where a small ship has entered the waters and is on its way to shore. The work is made using various shades of brown, green, grey and blue with the addition of beige, cream, red and dark pink.
