The vision of a hidalgo

The abstract composition seems at first glance to present a very ordinary landscape: a cave in the rocky ledges is depicted in the foreground, lush trees with ripe fruit spread out immediately behind it, and mountains can be seen in the distance. The caves, however, appear to be inhabited by strange creatures that look both human and animal at the same time, and one of them resembles a fish living on land. On the rock on the right is a fantastic object in the form of a sphere with several antennae, while an alien ship flies peacefully across the sky. The work is made using different shades of brown, green, grey, blue with the addition of red, orange, cream and dark pink.
