Gulliver's captivity
By Сергей Фролаковthroughout the Russian Federation.
Size (height&width): 60*100 cm.
Style: Surrealism.
Techniques: Oil on Canvas.
Subject: Fantasy.
The centrepiece of the work is a huge figure of Gulliver in a purple camisole with a red cape, lying on the ground. His hat hangs from the branches of a dry tree, and a midget has already climbed up and is trying to chase the crows. Gulliver cannot get up because the villagers have tied his body with ropes to take him prisoner. Apart from the usual little people, there are some very strange creatures living here. And the house nearby looks unusual - it resembles a stump with roots and branches, and on its red roof there is a tree with red fruit in the form of a pointed hat. In the distance is a castle. Built on a high mountain, it is surrounded by rocks. Apparently the ruler of Lilliput country lives there. The work is made using different shades of green, brown, grey, blue as well as purple, red, cream and pink.
