Annunciation

The painting depicts the Annunciation: the Archangel Gabriel informs the Virgin of the impending birth of the Saviour of the world. The faces of both are sad and the gaze looks distant. The artist has placed both figures against the background of a large window, from which the viewer has a panorama that symbolizes the whole world. This painting is made using different shades of green, yellow, blue, brown, pink, blue and grey, as well as red, terracotta, orange and cream.
