Yuri Brusovani is a prominent representative of the Leningrad Underground. Using both modern acrylic and old masters’ painting techniques, he develops a new artistic conception he called transrealism, a different way to display space and time. His work is inspired by biblical stories, interpreted in his own unique manner.
