Bacchus

The centrepiece is a man, partly draped in a light-coloured cloth. A wreath of vine leaves on his head and a white sheet make up all his clothes. In his hand he holds a large glass filled to the brim with red wine. On the table in front of him is a jug with quite a lot of heady liquor still in it, and a large bowl of fruit. This work fully repeats the subject of the famous Caravaggio's canvas, as if parodying it. The artist used different shades of brown, green and grey, as well as dark red and sandy beige.
