The centrepiece of the painting is an unusually shaped, fairy-tale-like house. Several small windows are quite high, a staircase without a railing leads to the door, and the red oval roof is almost flat and uneven. An unusual decoration of the façade is a niche in the wall, to the left of the porch, in which three multi-coloured jugs are placed.  The house stands on the bank of a pond, the flat green bank of which is enlivened by a small tree, a large stone and a trimmed round bush by the porch. The work is done in beige and greenish tones. The artist used various shades of brown, grey, green and yellow, as well as terracotta, beige and blue.
