The artist depicts a happy family returning home with lots of shopping. The woman in the foreground can barely walk, laden with bags and a huge rucksack on her back. Both of her hands are struggling to hold the bulging bags full of groceries. Everyone's faces express joy; it's clear at once that the shopping trip was a success. The work is made using different shades of green, brown, blue, red, yellow and pink with the addition of orange and sandy beige.
