In a secluded corner of St. Petersburg, buildings of different heights and colours are arranged either in the foreground or in the background. There is no uniform line and straight rows, as on the main streets, but there are green trees that surround the cosy courtyard. The bright midday sun floods the walls, penetrates through numerous windows, and gilds luxuriant crowns, giving a special charm to this modest, quite unparliamentary place. The work is made using various shades of yellow, green, grey and brown, and the artist has also used sandy beige, ashy pink, pale blue and cream.
