In the foreground, the artist has depicted a sandy beach jutting out into the sea in a straight line. On the right-hand side, the remains of ancient seagoing vessels protrude from the sand. The central part of the work is occupied by an abstract composition consisting of huge sails rising out of the sea and fastened to the mast in the form of a cross. The huge mast is surrounded by clouds of different shapes, white fluffy ones and fanciful, wing-shaped ones. Next to the petals of the individual sails the artist has depicted a crescent moon and a large, light-coloured orb which resembles a pearl. The work is made using different shades of blue, blue, brown, pink, green as well as beige and yellow.
