On the Adler coast

The work is a classic seascape: a strip of coastline and endless sea. White foamy waves lapping lazily against the grey pebble beach. On the horizon, the silhouette of a ship is visible, with birds scurrying over the surface. Though the sun is slightly hidden by the light clouds the water still glistens in its bright rays. The artist has managed to create such a painterly work using a very small selection of colours: various shades of grey from transparent light to saturated dark, several shades of blue and blue, and a pale pink.
