Venus

The abstract composition is a sculpture of the ancient goddess Venus, surrounded by withered plant shoots with many sharp thorns. The artist was probably trying to show that the sculpture is in a state of neglect. The sculpture lacks hands and the author imagines what the hands could be like, drawing them with light strokes. The work is made in light tones. Various shades of grey and blue were used, as well as cream and brown.
