At the wall of Pechersky Monastery

The canvas depicts the white-stone wall of the Pechersk monastery. To the left, in the foreground, stretches a covered wooden gallery; a little further away is the entrance with a gateway icon above it; to the right, a low bell tower joins the wall. Behind the wall the golden cupola of the temple shining in the sun hits the bright blue sky. The artist used different shades of grey, brown and green, as well as blue, yellow, terracotta and cream.
