Autumn

The artist has depicted the mirror-like surface of a forest lake, in which the soft pink clouds are reflected. The fluffy spruce branches and tree trunks in the foreground partially obscure the view. The shores of the reservoir are surrounded on all sides by a forest in autumnal decoration. A dense wall of trees stretches out to the right, with a redwood grove visible in the distance. The grass along the water's edge still retains its green colour. A concise palette was used: various shades of green, brown, blue, pink, yellow and orange.
